I survived...

...my baby's first (successful) cereal feeding!

The outcome was debatable but besides all three of us being drenched in stinky yellow goo, I think we made it out just fine! W cried through the first 5 minutes and would desperately look around for his bottle like "You have got to be kidding me...is this spoon really the most efficient way to eat this stuff??"

He finally at least gave in and ate about an ounce before having a major melt down. We stuck a bottle in his mouth and called it a night. Hopefully each night will get a little easier. And a little... drier.

Hey Lib, I was reading your sweet post about W being 6mos! I love how you are doing it from his perspective, so funny! Anyways, I was going to share this idea with you, I saw it on another blog. A lady turned her blog posts into a book and her husband had it printed and gave it to her for christmas. I thought this would be awesome for you to make one of all your W blog posts! So if you'd like to see it, here is the link: http://bethproudfoot.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2011-01-18T16%3A11%3A00-05%3A00&max-results=7

Wow, I'm impressed! Emma Cate would NEVER eat cereal and really never would eat much baby food. It would take us a week of trying to get through 1 stage 2 jar of baby food. Don't stress over it. Eventually he'll eat solid food and our doctor said it's really just for practicing before 1 year anyway!
